Coke came up with this idea of creating a fan jersey for Chennai Super Kings fans to strengthen the bond between Coke and the passionate fans of CSK.

For this project I used several character illustrations which capture the essence of Chennai, its culture and people. The CSK fan jersey illustration was entirely done inside the silhouette of a Coke bottle. Several interesting characters were developed to create the artwork like the iconic Dhoni fan holding a Chennai Super Kings flag, large cutout of Dhoni hitting the ball, a traditional Bharatnatyam dancer catching the cricket ball, an auto driver waving hands etc. The CSK Coke t-shirt was deeply rooted in Chennai’s cultural identity and it instantly resonated with the fans making it a widely appreciated fan jersey.
