The Protidin masthead illustration was done for the occasion of Mahalaya, marking her auspicious arrival for her homecoming. Since this was my first masthead illustration for any Bengali newspaper, it will always be very special for me. The idea was centred around the journey of Maa Durga from her creation in Kumortuli to the final day of Pujo, Bijoya Dashami. It was a fun experience working on the editorial masthead design for Pratidin.
