I had the opportunity to design and paint the wall murals in Diu on the occasion of G20 in Diu Summit in 2023. It was significant time where India was hosting leaders across different states. One of the such summits were held in the coastal town of Diu. It was my first time in Diu and I will always cherish the experience.

I am grateful to Start India Foundation for giving me the opportunity to create wall murals in Diu. We have created two wall murals in different parts of the town. One was a horizontal wall near the airport and the other one was a little further than that. Both the walls tell the story of promoting blue economy across the globe. The wall mural brought together vibrant marine life highlighting the importance of oceans and its ecosystem across the globe. The wall mural was designed to encourage the awareness about ocean conservation.

The second wall design was pretty interesting. I designed a portal like design where a young boy is seen peeping through, discovering a vast marine life which transcends from one building wall to the another.

The beauty of this wall mural was when seen in close proximity the two buildings look separated. But while driving towards the mural, the walls in distance come together as one approaches the buildings. Together these two buildings create one mural which enhances the visual experience and brings out a larger message about our relationships with the ocean.
