As an artist, it was one of the memorable experiences for me to create wall murals at the iconic Eden Gardens. It was one of my earlier works and always remains special to me. The wall murals at the Eden Gardens were executed in two phases in two years.

The first idea of the wall mural revolves around the idea of children experiencing the magical game of cricket for the very first time in Eden Gardens. The wall mural shows all the iconic actions of the cricketing legends in the moment of the game and the kids experiencing it for the first time.

The second set of wall murals were done in the year 2019, where the idea of the wall mural was to show the journey of a batsman and a bowler. The wall mural art was created in such a way that it captures the journey of a batsman from gully cricket in North Kolkata to play for India at the global stage. The visual storytelling was created to celebrate the journey of a young and aspiring cricketing talent of the city.
Both the ideas were loved and praised by millions of people over these years. Creating large scale wall murals in one of the world’s best stadium is such a fulfilling an humbling experience.
