The Wow Momo wall mural was painted on the exterior walls of the Metro Station of the Bengal Chemicals Metro Station back in 2023.

The idea was to create something memorable for the passerby since the wall mural was going to stay for some time. Wall murals are a great medium to transform any space into a visual landmark. The designing of the wall mural was fun and enjoyable for me since I could experiment a lot with the various elements of Kolkata and the food items from the Wow momo menu.

While the designing was fun but the execution was quite challenging. We initially started to paint the wall mural during the daytime but the increasing traffic around the area forced us to stop the work on a multiple occasions. That’s when we started working at nights when the traffic was lesser compared to the daytime.
Even then we needed a lot of support from the local authorities to complete the project on time.

Once the Wow Momo wall mural was done, it immediately caught the attention of the passerby and people were quite fascinated to see the mural artwork at such a height. Soon the wall mural became a prime landmark.
